Stuffed Hen

We travelled to my parents this afternoon and had the most spectacular journey up the M74.  On some of the hill tops there was a sprinkling of snow and the low cloud and golden light was beautiful.  I wished I could jump out of the car and spend the remaining daylight taking photographs.

We've had a lovely evening, eating, drinking a little and are now ready for bed before travelling to Perth tomorrow for the family party.  Hope all you folks have a relaxing weekend planned.
