Birthday Blessings

Today was my 56th birthday, and my incredibly generous brother- and sister-in-law took all of us on my husband's side of the family - 14 of us - out for a wonderful meal at The Cock Inn at Wishaw - one of my favourite places. Roaring fires, a tree that smelt so good, and superb food and wine, plus great conversation and lots of laughter. 

Yet another perfect day - why am I allowed even one??
