Mercé

Whenever we're home over Christmas we have our neighbours Mercé, Ferran and their 19 yr old son Bru in for lunch and for a wee exchange of pressies. We've been neighbours now for 16 years, since we moved into our house here (before we knocked it down and built it up again!) and they've lived next door for 18 years. We honestly couldn't ask for better neighbours or friends!

Today we had blinis with cream cheese and smoked salmon; spinach, peas, feta cheese and pomegranate salad with lemon dressing; then a big pot of chilli and baked potatoes. Finished off with Christmas mince pies. It's good to note this to make sure we don't produce exactly the same again another year!

Here's Mercé holding two pieces of her crocheted handiwork. She presented us with a beautiful crocheted cactus in a pot and we gave Bru his first ever vinyl record and he was delighted!
