of the collared doves...

These birds are a familiar sight
(and sound) - they drive the cats mad with their constant cooing which echoes down the chimney.
Today they were feasting on Christmas leftovers.
They look pretty well fed to me!

I haven't left the house today but have used the time to finish the quilting on the baby quilt, just have to cut and apply the border now. The end is finally in sight which is just as well as the baby is due in a few weeks.
I've hand stitched the moon onto my small Sashiko quilt too - so quite a productive day.
