Yet another .......

 ....... emergency blip.

Not the best of days for my Mum - she always spends Christmas with us but (as some of you know) her health has not been the best this year - she started, late yesterday, with VERY painful back spasms so I took her to the hospital who refused to see her saying it wasn't an accident or emergency!
I called the 111 service early this morning and the upshot was a (very nice, no nonsense) Practitioner Nurse came out about three hours later gave us some advice and also administered a pain-killing injection - Mum is more comfortable but still in a lot of pain ...... have to see how that goes - she is confined upstairs as going up and down is rather too difficult right now.

Obviously have had a lot to do today so this emergency blip is one of a pretty little candle holder measuring about 5" x 5" x 5" (12.5cm x 12.5 cm x 12.5cm) - surprisingly difficult to photograph (and get looking half-decent) as I found out!!

As the song says "things can only get better ...... " - we hope :-))
