Winter walk

No snow here but very cold today. It was hard going along the towpath as it was very muddy. The river is high and flowing very fast, but normal for this time of year, as compared to last year when we were all about to be submerged. A little further along from where I took this we stopped to watch a Kingfisher.  A splash of electric blue on a dull day.
