Beautiful Light

on the Canal this morning :)

I wasn't intending to go back to the Canal today, but I needed to go to the Bank in town, so I popped along there first, only to discover I'd left both the camera card and the spare camera card both at home :(  So on the way to the bank I went and bought a new card...

After the Bank I mistakenly went into M&S and bought a few new clothes.  The most infuriating thing was that I wasn't able to try anything on (their changing rooms were closed 'due to the sales', what use is that??!!!), so I had to get two sizes in case they don't fit and have run out of the other size when I get back to change them!

Then, being cold, I felt the need for a cuppa, so popped and had a coffee before going back to the Canal and taking many pictures of various birds :)  Loving the reflections in the water and it was very difficult to choose what to blip, all of which are just cropped :)  The rest of my chosen shots are on flickr

By that time I was frozen again, so after a quick trip to the supermarket (where I mistakenly visited the books and bought a few that I shouldn't have), I came home! 

I made my Christmas soup, which is turkey and vegetables really :)

Then and only then did I try to upload the pictures from the new card (and its taken about 3 hours a very long time for the computer to read the card :( )  Eventually I made it happen...  I really have no idea why it won't read this particular card or why it would only load to Adobe Elements and not windows :(

After all that I've decided its pj time for the rest of the day and the heating is pumped up hight as its very cold here...really hoping it doesn't decide to snow!
