Cathedral Green, Exeter.

Jinxy has been suffering from his ears recently so today he has been in and, under a general anesthetic, had them flushed out. He does not like the vets !!

Anyhow, Mrs M and I had a free day so off we went to the big City, in our case Exeter, which is I think one on the nicest Cathedral Cities I know. So it was a round of Camping shops, camera shops, book shops and one called Laura Ashley's, into which I did not venture, choosing instead to go into Waterstones.

M&S for lunch and a little light shopping by myself. I got to know Exeter well when undergoing my Royal Marines training nearby and this was our run ashore (RM speak for going out for the evening).

Wondering around the Cathedral Green we came across this group practicing for something with a lot of banging of drums and shouting and providing entertainment for people sat around enjoying the sunshine.

On our way home I took Mrs M to a place called Darts Farm where I had tracked down Mulberry handbags. They had the very bag, right color and size she wanted, bingo.!!!!

At 4pm we collected a very woosey jinxy and brought him home foe a good dose of TLC, of which we all can do with sometimes..

So a nice days retail therapy and all is at peace with the our household.
