Sunbaking Seal at Margs Beach
Going for a stroll along this beach at the mouth of the Margaret River on Boxing Day and came across a large seal basking in the sun. She had picked a beautiful beach and a very private little cove sheltered by a natural rock breakwater. She was perfectly well and opened her eyes, yawned, flipped her tail and ignoring us, went back to sleep.
Foto of Seal This foto was taken a few metres away as I didn't want to disturb her and thought she might bite me! It shows the great spot she had chosen.
Close-up of seal looking very relaxed.
Went back to the beach today and took this foto and just as I thought she had gone. Safe trip little seal.
