Great Crested Grebe

Called past to see how the Grebe families are going.  The family I mostly followed has a bird nesting again, and the two rather large chicks floating around nearby. the other adult calls past and keeps an eye on everything.

This Grebe is proudly nesting her eggs and should be hatching soon I am told. She called a few times and had her head feathers up. she knew I was there and was watching me.
