Christmas Eve fire show at the nature bar

We slept much better last night so are feeling a bit brighter today although we wake late again.  We think we might set the alarm tomorrow as we don't want to keep missing half the day.  We can always have a siesta on the beach.

All the bars are preparing for big Christmas Eve parties so its going to be a big night out tonight here.  We do what has become our routine and head to the beach in the afternoon.  The German couple we met on the way here, Anton and Sara, are staying at nature beach resort which has a big beach bar.  They are advertising a fire show and fireworks tonight so we head down after dinner and meet Anton and Sara.

Its packed and the fire show is pretty impressive.  This is the finale after their show and then anyone who fancies jumping through a burning frame.  They then start to set up some really big fireworks just near us on the beach.  No health and safety issues here.  It is left for us to move out of the way, or not.  They begin to go off and we retreat a little further into the bar as they really are a little close for comfort!  A few more drinks and its the early hours again so off to bed ... we're getting used to this nocturnal lifestyle.
