Today is our 5th wedding anniversary!

We are going to go out next weekend so will be able to do dinner. And we'll have my mum to baby sit the boys.

As for today we haven't done anything special, we haven't the money to but it was so hot we took the boys to the beach.


It was lovely spending time with the boys and they loved the water. Kanye has a life jacket as he tends to just run in the water and he can't swim. I went in with him and because life jackets have a handle on the back i didnt let go of so was able to control him ie how far he went out and from taking off and pull him up when a wave knocked him down. It meant i felt safe he was safe and he got to have a great time.

Harper and Marley stayed in the shallow water with Andre though he said harper seemed to want to go further and when a wave splashed his face he stomped his feet and growled as if he was challenging the sea.

As soon as Kanye started to yawn we got out of the water it would have been dangerous if we stayed and he could no longer hold himself up.

We came home and all boys were zapped for energy so they lay on the couch with icy cold water to drink.

Now it's cooled a bit- well the sun is no longer scorching the boys are back outside while Andre and I have a moment to have a cup of tea together. Our energy is zapped now.

Was a lovely day though.

Much love and gratitude to Andre for the past 5 years. We've been through a lot. I look forward to the next 50 years just maybe a little less eventful would be nice!
