Real fire!

Central heating is a wonderful invention and keeps the house uniformly warm with no effort.  But there is nothing to beat the friendly glow of a real, open fire burning coals or logs. 

Christmas is one time when we still like to have a fire to create the cosy atmosphere.  It is lovely to stand in front of the fire in  your  PJs, warming your legs.

A lazy day recovering from the mild excesses of yesterday (but with plenty of treats still to enjoy).  Christmas continues.
