We three kings

Today was family bonding over The Amazing Mr Blunden, one of my favourite films. I had to do a bit of gentle persuasion with the daughters 'if I die then next year you'll feel really guilty that you couldn't spare an hour and forty minutes to make me happy by watching this. I'm saving you from years of misery and guilt.' First Born's boyfriend is still at the 'impress the parents' stage so he swung it. We love FBB - he's doing physics which really impresses us because we count on our toes. The Amazing Mr Blunden features a reverse grandfather paradox so we've been discussing that - If only I could do long division, I'd be totally beasting Stephen Hawking. So we all had a lovely day and I cried, which always makes me happy
