Boxing Day reflections

Very cold and grey day for most of today but much quieter than the madness of yesterday! Went for our normal Boxing Day walk at RHS Hyde Hall which was much quieter than  previous Boxing Days, so maybe the colder weather had put off a few more people!

still lots to see while walking round - roses still flowering and camellias out in full bloom already! Much earlier than normal! and the few hardy souls who were out walking were very friendly as we got 'hellos' from everyone who we saw on various routes round!  The hot chocolate at the thatched roof barn restaurant they have there was a rather lovely added bonus! much needed too to warm up!!
