St Margaret's Loch

The thermometer said minus two, but it was so still that I didn't really believe it till I got to the pond. 

The gulls were the only ones light enough to stand on the ice. The ducks, geese and swans all had to paddle about in the deeper unfrozen bit. 

They say some harsh weather is coming, wrap up warm and look after yourselves.
