Boxing Day

Started fairly sunny and cold then soon turned grey and cold and just as I set out for my walk it started to rain. A cold, icy rain so I changed plans and did a quick walk down the path by the lake from where this photo was taken. Looking through the trees a friend's conservatory roof is just visible.

Plain afternoon - will I read or finally get to the basket in the kitchen which houses cookery books and bits and bobs? Or watch a film?? I so appreciate my plain days...
