Pudding!

We nearly had a Christmas miracle this morning. I received a text message from a friend saying he had a spare gas canister  and could deliver it this morning before we started cooking. What a wonderful man! He arrived at about 9.15 with the canister, but that one appeared to be empty. So then he drove over to the depot to find another canister and came back and fitted it. That one didn't work either, so it seems Mother Flowerpower's hob has broken. After all his efforts he was unable to fix it, but we were all very grateful that he tried so hard and went out of his way for us on Christmas morning.

So along with gifts and Christmas cheer, we also arrived with a steamer, a microwave and a camping stove. Thanks to the wonder of Google, Mother and Sister Flowerpower cooked up a feast of sauces (bread, cheese, and gravy) using the microwave.

We enjoyed a feast.
