Morning serenity

Despite the serenity of this shot the scene at Fleetwood beach was very busy. The tide was rushing in, the oyster catchers chattering and gathering at the edge to gather any tasty morsel and the quickly receding sandy beach crowded with dogs and their owners seizing the opportunity for exercise before their anticipated Christmas meal. The sun was out and the wind was blustery - a delightfully exhilarating start to Christmas Day. Wishing you all a very happy Christmas.
