Breathalyser!

Today we headed to Stevenson Falls and Bruno’s art and sculpture gallery.

Sculpture gallery (all outdoor) was fascinating and very mystical.    The falls were pretty, but pretty much the same as any other waterfall!

After a cuppa we headed to the next destination ….but before that, (I’m driving), we came across a road block.  The police were breath testing every driver (this concept needs to be adopted in the UK!)  So….a first for me since I started driving…I was breathalysed!    An experience for sure!  Needless to say I was perfectly fine.

But wow, it did get my little heart thumping!!

We enjoyed Ice Cream at Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery.  How very indulgent - I couldn’t finish my one scoop ice cream!   Beautiful location.

We also headed to the Observatory near our cottage...it was packed full of people and a wedding party!  fab views....we were planning on going up there tonight for a star blip but a last minute decision sees us heading to an outdoor cinema to see the new Lord of the Rings movie…we both have never been to an outdoor movie  (best wrap up warm, nights in the mountains are chilly!)


Loving this trip….spoilt for blip choices……loving the sign posts here!  You just don’t get these in the UK.

P.S I Skyped my family today in the UK....My dad took his first ever Skype call...(thanks to my niece Em)...not sure he got the concept that he could talk at the same time as seeing us!!  Wonderful seeing Mum, my nieces, great nephew, my sister and brother in law.  The world is a smaller place for technology x
