Wet Rose

I popped outside with my camera after returning from my run this morning, as the roses were wet, and therefore looking particularly nice.

(I don't think a Flickr link is required any more; on the new Blipfoto, the photos seem to me to be just as nice viewed here as on Flickr. Which is nice.)

I also had a bit of fun with my two new lenses:

I think this lorikeet (Scrappy, natch) can confirm the Takette 135 is "acceptably sharp" wide-open... (though the photo of mrs tsuken I took yesterday is even sharper - despite being taken inside; it's quite stunning, this lens).

It also works well inside with little light.

The DA 50-200 is great too:

JUST NOPE

Lorikeet, and again, and two being a bit pushy.

New Holland Honeyeater, and I think this one it was flitting after, must be an immature or juvenile one.
