Don't like being 'sensible'....

... what's wrong with fun, stylish or cute??

We needed a new kettle as the other one kept switching itself off after a couple of minutes or so and we couldn't get the water to boil.... (bit of a drawback I know...)

Now we have a super fast, super quiet, super energy efficient and super healthy (as it has a filter buil tin) model!!!

'That's fantastic' I hear you shout..... but I am gutted! Our old one was so stylish and cute if a little noisy and slow.... it was understated chic. The plain brushed steel blended in to our kitchen....

Now we have a shiny monster with a blue light at the bottom (which does have it's purpose) with sensible indicators so you boil 'just the right amount' of water..... Oh so very sensible!!! :-(

Maybe I will get used to it... maybe it will look a bit better when it is worn in and a little 'grubby' looking... :-(

I miss my quirky, stylish one....Can you mourn the loss of a kettle....? ;-(
