It was only a Winters tale

We 've had a super Christmas Day. The turkey was delicious and we'd finished and cleared up by 1 o'clock so plenty of time for an afternoon walk. I knew the tide would be in so that ruled Rosemarkie out so we went down to the Point. The sun was shining brightly and the roads were still really icy. It was quite busy but we found a parking place. We walked down the path to the sandy beach. No dolphins or seals but one lone female Eider duck and of course the usual gulls and shags.
We drove down to Rosemarkie as the sun was going down. The waves were really rolling in and the gulls were enjoying the ride. Two of the Brownies came whizzing past on their Christmas Scooters. They were soooo excited about Christmas and it was lovely to see their smiling faces.
Now watching Call the midwife, missed Strictly as did nt realise it was on so early.
