Vaillge sign

It is a while since we blipped a village or town sign and so this one came to mind as we wondered what we could post today.  This local village has a very attractive sign depicting a very unusual event.  According to Wikipedia :  The "Tin Can Band" is held every year in December.   Beginning at midnight, a group of people walk around the village making as much noise as possible by banging on tin-cans (anything from cans to pots and pans and metal dustbins), to scare away evil spirits before Christmas. Nowadays it's quite good-natured, but in the past there have been riotous scenes, especially in years when the authorities tried to prevent it happening.
Relaxing now after a very busy, noisy, and happy day.  As son pointed out there are only 365 more sleeps until Santa comes again!
