Union Square at Christmas, San Francisco (part 1)

Today I headed to work once again, flying off to San Francisco.  We land there about 5pm (1am UK time) so I normally go straight to bed when we get to the hotel.  However, I was eager to see the Christmas lights and tree at Union Square, so when we got to the hotel a couple of hours later, I quickly changed and forced myself to hop on a bus down to this busy area.  There were lots of people around - frantic last minute shoppers, families, street musicians and people enjoying the ice-skating rink.  All very beautiful!
