Family

Following on yesterday's theme of family, it occurred to me  this morning that I don't think I have ever blipped mine together.    

So today, on Christmas Day, here are Cathleen and Cailean at the holly tree, which I have blipped before and which marks the destination point of many a Christmas Day (and other) walk by us over the past 22 years at Feorlean.   

The forest track lies behind where we live and at this point gives spectacular views back to the loch-end and on to Glendaruel.   The weather today has been bright and clear but with a few showers and clouds.  This evening  we saw the gritting lorry coming down the hill road opposite the house , meaning that ice is expected.
