March of the Fire Ants

full day #4 with Laura : )

i was up most of the night finishing stuff for my editing class
and trying to print them to tape.
that class is over now,
and i have to learn 80 songs by tomorrow night for history of rock II,
then about 24 hours after that to do a 12 page film research paper,
then im done for the quarter and my spring break can begin.

after my 'final'
(basically my classmates showing their big editing projects),
laura and i went for a walk.
we went through a more 'townie' part of the area,
and out to dairy queen.
after some sitting around on top of a hill,
we went uptown to get some packets of pepper from Wendy's
(for laura to put on her dinner),
and we ended up buying girl scout cookies.
then we walked over by the former Oasis
(this is actually a pole right in front of the building)/
Scott Quad / Greenhouse area,
where we made a new friend
(he's hiding down in the corner!),
and some flowers were actually in bloom
(yellow!).

the ants were on the trip back,
on some steps outside of Scott Quad.
