Last lap struggle; I switched off and moved into holiday mode on Tuesday night; and to then have to reinvigorate myself for one last day in the office was not the easiest.

Still, in. Plugged in to my mp3 player of 2 years ago; so lots of hooks there and I sat in my misanthropic world quite happily. Quite productive, too...!

Lunchtime I went out for a wander in an intense but short burst of hail and gales. The streets of Edinburgh cleared, it was fabulous - all glistening pavements and no people!

Blipped and back; spent the afternoon in the same vein as the morning; then met at Lloyds for a shared bottle of shiraz; before she went her way, and I went mine.

Quiet evening in; just exhausted.
