"Ancient and Modern"

A view through parts of the original Abbey built 1100-1200 AD of the new Cathedral Tower completed in 2005 AD. 800 years seperates the completion of these 2 fine buldings. Even though I have walked through and around both of them for many years I am still entralled at each visit and wonder what daily life would have been like in the Abbey 800 years ago!
