Death of a green carpet

Finally, the green carpet is gone and in it's place miraculously is a beautiful brownish cream coloured one! I recorded evidence of the change. This is the fitter installing the underlay and exposing the floorboards which were nicer than I thought. I had quite a bit of running around to do before this point getting food for lunch and cash for the carpet fitting, not the best thing to be doing with a sore head. (bit of a late one the night before.) We sat in our hallway eating sandwiches (the bedroom was full of stuff from the living room) and I thought (despite the chaos) what a great day this was. Out with the old and in with the new!
