Christmas Shopping

I usually leave much of the shopping till Christmas Eve. This year was about as last-minute as it gets (see the time on the clock).

In Tunbridge Wells there was a sign that the true spirit of Christmas is missed by many: as the shutters came down on the shop windows, what were the staff doing? Rushing home to their loved ones? No, changing the window displays and putting up the sale posters.
