Fields of Gold

One problem with gazing too frequently into the past, is that we may turn around to find the future has run out on us!

Today we met up with a group of other Home-Edders and a ranger took us for a walk to show us and let us taste edible wild plants. Some were tastier than others! I kept on wandering off looking for images to photograph, so didn't get to sample all of them, but listening to the 'ooooooooohs' and 'eeeeeeeeeeeeeughs', I knew which ones were worth trying once I re-joined the group.

We ended in the nearby park with a picnic, while all the children were playing, Aiden somehow managed to tumble off the swing head first and landed on her back, she was a bit stunned initially but after a jaffa cake or two and a sip of juice, she was up and running around again as if it hadn't happened.

Back home to do a bit of Maths and English.
