handbags at dawn

Last day at work today for almost a fortnight. It's been a long haul since the summer holidays and included a house move and a change of jobs so I'm definitely overdue for a bit of time off.

Quiet day at work, some festive dim sum and ramen for lunch (absolutely delicious - Chi Noodle if you happen to be in the area) and then amazingly some post-work pints. Amazingly because my team are absolutely terrible at any form of socialising. 

Back to the house to find the Christmas cake iced, complete with snowmen made by the +3s. The one with the handbag was made by +3/3 - if he doesn't turn out to be studying textiles when he's older I'll be surprised.

Music for today was very thin on the ground: some Dinosaur Jr.  and Black Angels.
