Sky High in #Huddersfield

It might be Christmas Eve, but I've been working all day today. 

For once this week, there was some sunshine between the showers, so I popped down to the Piazza to try out the Sky High ride. Being early in the day, the ride wasn't at all busy with only a handful of riders who had to be spaced out in order to maintain a balance.

The operator told me that the ride was 30 metres high which is pretty tame compared with the  Star Flyer in Edinburgh.

I did however manage to get a bird's eye view of the Library and Art Gallery, the Town Hall and the roof of Queensgate Market Hall.

A dash round the shops after work at 5pm and a six mile drive to the church service at 6pm.
