My favorite Iris

This peach iris doesn't bloom every year, so I was very excited to see it this spring...my first blip spring! The sun was shining on the dew in the grass, and the petals are about to unfurl.

Yesterday the baby wrens fledged while I was gone kayaking. At least that's what I hope happened...the parents are gone, the nest is quiet, and there are no little feathers that would suggest foul play...so I'm sticking to my story.

I have Sanibel over for a playdate all day, and she isn't feeling great or I would blip her today.
