Snow

We woke to a light covering of snow this morning, something that is fairly rare for these islands, being directly in the gulf stream. The red tractor was clearing the snow from the road that leads to the house just past ours. The snow had all but melted by the evening. I sometimes really wish I lived somewhere with proper seasons, where snow lasts longer than a day in the winter and where the warm sunshine lasts longer than a day in the summer!
