Another weather picture!

But this morning the weather was actually correct for the time of year...we even heard the cockoo! We had to be home mid-afternoon so made an early start for a shortish ( 2 hour) walk up Dodd. Chloe loves it as there is lots of running to do but none of the things which cause her boring owners to think she would be better on the lead. (Any phesants in this wood have got there by mistake so need to look after themselves)
Behind Chloe to the right is Barf; the highest fell to her left is Grisdale Pike, and the lake of course Bass Lake otherwise known as Bassenthwaite.
