A waterfall of rain

It is raining for the 4th day in a row and is like a monsoon..the yard is flooded with puddles and standing water.  I tried to get a photo of the standing water but this torrent coming down from the gutter made a much better subject. Not the best composition for sure but it does show the volume of water that we are getting. 

Christmas Day is supposed to be sunny; we are so ready for some sunshine here in the South. Will be traveling about 3 hours away to our son's house so I surely hope the rain stops.
