Winter Light

A bright cold start today, the light was again harsh. The morning was spent tidying things away for our partial shut down at work. Only the live stock part of the farm will be active until the second week of next year.
After lunch I delivered the last of the Christmas cards and went to collect our Turkey from the small local farm that has served us well for so long. While collecting I order the one for next year two jobs done in one visit ;)
On the way back I stopped of at the part of the canal in their village, in the terminal two swans were settling in for the evening. Just had to blip this one of the glow, the low sun on the feathers and the ripples!
