Double cream

Christmas Eve is all about preparation here. We get our milk delivered and always add on cream for Christmas, ought to do it more often really as it's so good and convenient. I loved the rich blue foil lids, the rain drops and the embossed printing - Plank's Dairies, Poulshot, Devizes.

This particular cream is earmarked for what is (un)officially the best bread and butter pudding in the world, created by the Mister after my sister bought us a Lidl Panettone. It's the kind of pudding you find yourself dreaming about.
