You're Never Too Old ....

.... to ice your first Christmas cake. Tess has made plenty of Christmas cakes before but this is the first time she's iced one. Normally her Mum insists on icing them but, at 87, she's decided it's time to pass on the baton (or rolling pin, or whatever).

We've spent the morning baking and cooking, the bags are packed and half the kitchen is waiting to be loaded into the car before we set off to Kate & Joel's for Christmas.

In case I don't get time to post tomorrow in between cooking the turkey and cuddling our new granddaughter(must make sure to get that the right way round!), can I wish all fellow blippers a very Merry Christmas.
