Home For Christmas
I walked over the village bridge to my mum and dad's house - that's my journey 'home' for Christmas, far less challenging than most peoples journeys.
The welcoming lights at their door mark the point where carol singers will knock tomorrow night. Another village tradition. Apparently they knock on every door and ask for biscuits and mulled wine! No wonder my dad is keen to go despite being tone deaf!
And thats todays one through the looking glass
