Dandenongs Mountains

Today, our first full day in the Dandenongs Mountains and its flippin' freezing!!  Talk about one extreme to another!!  Needless to say the weather will be the weather.


We have had a lovely day.  It started out with a little shopping for supplies to see us thought the next few days and the shops were refreshingly empty, unlike the UK shops I hear!!


We then went to see, have a wonder around the William Ricketts Sanctuary (more here - http://parkweb.vic.gov.au/explore/parks/william-ricketts-sanctuary-gardens-of-the-dandenongs)

After that we had a home lunch looking over the city in the distance and watching the birds.

This afternoon we met up with In an Instant and MsMun for drinks and nibbles at one of their friends houses and then after that we enjoyed a fun few hours and a pizza with In an Instant and MsMun at their home. 

Tomorrow is the big day!
