Oh dear!

For years now captainbob has done a brilliant job of putting highlights in my hair. Praised by any hairdresser I've gone to.
But he's been reluctant to do it recently, and the thought of enduring endless stabs to the head with a sharpened crochet hook , causing me to consume huge quantities of alcohol, has put me off as well.
So this morning I decided to follow the hairdresser's tip and add tiny highlights with my fingertips. What's the worst that could happen - a head that looks like a seagull's pooped on it? That's about right.
