Not Helena's Apartment!

We had another really busy day today. It began with an appointment for Arvin. I sat and waited and did some blipping. When he came out we went out to breakfast at Avenue Bread. My view across the street was this building. I really liked the decrepit look of the place. We had some time before going over to Helena's apartment, so we crossed the street and visited Creswell Boggs, a great novelty shop, and Hohl Feed which is full of interesting stuff including chicken feed. As we walked between the two places I took this photo. It turned out to be the only photo I took all day.

We meandered over to Helena's to be there when the Comcast fellows arrived. It didn't take them long to set up Helena's Internet and phone. Then we drove H down to Fred Meyer's to shop for the few things she needed for her apartment. By then it was pouring rain. Fred Meyer was a zoo. No animals but lots and lots of shoppers getting their last minute Christmas things. By the end of our run around looking for the stuff H needed, we were all exhausted. So we took her home and then headed back to our house for a bit of a rest.
