I have never brined a turkey before....

All shopping done, if I have forgotton it, we dont need it!!!!! Last minute goodies delivered,(and a lovely coffee with a friend)...now the mundane bits. I have 2 of my 3 daughters and families tomorrow. Haven't had a Christmas here at home for many years. I'm not doing a lot, they are bringing goodies. I'm doing the turkey. Several cooks/chefs suggest brining the turkey for 12 hours keeps it moist!!! I'll  let you know.- the bird is having a quiet soak, with seasonings in a salt bath........must admit it sounds attractive!!!!!!!
