Soggy walk

When we got up this morning Skipper was hiding with a note in tucked in his scarf- 'For a clue look in a shoe.'  After checking nearly every shoe on the rack Chickpea found the next clue- 'If that wasn't smelly, look in a welly.'  The next clue was found- 'What can you see inside the tree?'  After deliberating over what tree was meant another clue was found in the Christmas tree- 'Don't be a loafer, look behind the sofa.'  Finally the last clue- Look in a pot for something you like a lot!  It was.... *drum roll* Chocolate!

We went for a walk in Dunham Massey today with some friends and got rained on quite a bit.  These two didn't seem to mind the rain, though within the first 5 minutes Monkey jumped in a puddle that was too large and splashed himself with horrible smelly mud all down the front of him.  Luckily Elaine had spare clothes or we would have missed the walk entirely.  The kids found baubles, some Christmas soft toys and chocolates on their walk.  I wonder who hid them there...  Hmmmm...
