Edinburgh blip
It has been a long day, hence the late blip. D#1 and I travelled through to Edinburgh for the funeral of my mother-in-law's sister, the girls' great aunt, who died recently at the age of 88.
The funeral was a celebration of a lovely lady's long and happy life, so it wasn't a sad occasion but an opportunity to catch up with members of the family we hadn't seen for a long time, and reminisce.
The blip was snatched after we arrived in Edinburgh by train and is of the roof of Waverley Station. I like the way the two workmen are dwarfed by the expanse of glass.
Tonight I'm thinking of D#2, Lulabel177, and her hot dog Mabel, as they make the overland journey home from Paris for Christmas. Bon voyage, mes enfants!
