I have nothing to "crow" about .....

..... as I am definitely a "rookie" when it comes to flying birds and action shots - however this isn't too bad at all in my opinion (possibly a lot better than my awful word-play attempts)!!!

I'm quite pleased with the shot as I am still on the 80-400 lens hand-held jag - AND set on aperture not shutter priority - I'm not quick enough (or confident enough) to make the fast changes with knobs and dials. Not that long since I went off auto settings to be honest.

I'm pretty sure this is a rook!
