Scots Mining House

I had hoped to head north to find an interesting place for the Solstice loversoflight photo but alas Liz was ill and so I resigned myself to delivering Christmas cards round Leadhills on a very dreich day. This is the Scots Mining House which was the residence of James Stirling an "enlightened" individual, whose ideas were arguably later taken up at new Lanark.
